Care Assistant for Home Care Services

The Social Care Division is ultimately responsible for children, youth, adults, and the elderly who need support. Our work plays a significant role in many people's lives. We are now looking for care assistants for home care services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in home care, you will work based on the individual’s decisions from the assistance officer and the implementation plan. You will support users in their daily lives with personal hygiene, meals, medication, walks, social interaction, household chores, and more.

The work requires a pedagogical, motivating, and health-promoting approach, as well as great respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. You will document interventions in our operational system and collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other stakeholders.

Working hours vary and may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Trained care assistant, preferably with a few years of experience in the profession.
• Driver's license (automatic/manual) and ability to cycle.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Empathetic and secure, with the ability to build trust and relationships.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

We conduct interviews continuously during the application period. A probationary period may occur.
